More foreshadowing…

So, in light of the new episode being released, many people have eased off the idea that Ford will be an antagonist (because how could someone so nerdy and innocent and sweet to Dipper be possibly unintentionally evil?). Initially, I thought the same thing, but there’s still something off about him that, the more I think about it, the more I get bad vibes from him. This post is an update from the last one I wrote on Ford.

Let me start out by saying that I know this is going to be an unpopular opinion. Many GF fans think Ford being a villain would be cliche, or simply don’t want him to turn out bad because they want Dipper and Ford to keep having cute nerdy bonding fun times. I agree with both sentiments; however, if this is how the plot develops, then I can guarantee you with 99.99% certainty that Hirsch and crew will do a unique twist on it. They’re good writers, and I trust them wholeheartedly that they’ll blow our minds with some fantastic plot twist.

Anyways, onto the main part…

As I’ve stated before in a previous post, there’s something up with Ford. Not only in the way that he acts, but all the symbolism surrounding him, too. I’m going to stack up all the what I think are clues and put a conclusion at the end. So a forewarning: this’ll be a long post.
