So Danny still gets to go batshit and become Dan, and Sam and Tucker were not only dead but their spirits were destroyed so its not even possible for them to come back as full ghosts

i’m okay with that :’) but not 100% okay

they could just go intangible and phase through the explosion like probably Danny did…?
heck we don’t even know what happened here without Clockwork’s and Dan’s interference at the first time in the canon
maybe Jazz told Danny’s parents about their ghost powers or Lancer did and everyone started arguing and fighting and shit and everything just went bad

in other scenario, where Tucker and Sam survived the explosion, Danny probably could move on because he still would have his friends and their support
OR
he would become Dan anyway and Sam and Tucker had to fight against him 

To be honest if it were Danny’s family who died and Sam and Tucker survived they would be that emotional support that would prevent Dan from existing.

Unless…it wasn’t any of Danny’s fault. What if Sam’s the one who fought with Box Lunch because she insulted processed food or something and that’s what set the Nasty Burger up. What if Tucker was the one to steal the answers to the test, but Lancer overheard Danny talking about it and assumes it was him.

What if he blamed his family’s death on his best friends.

What if Danny becomes evil and starts to hunt them. Sam, Tucker, Valerie, and Damon Gray spend ten years trying to protect Amity from the insane ghost. Tucker is terrified of him. Sam is still trying to save the ‘Danny she knows is in there’ and if they didn’t have Valerie they wouldn’t of survived the first attack, much less all the rest of them.
