daggers-drawn: Straight women treat gay bars like Hooters. Just a bunch of attractive and non-threatening men to gawk at in a “socially transgressive” space. The same straight women are pissed to find out there are lesbians there too and *gasp* their presence in a gay bar might garner them attention from gay women.
