when i was a child, i had a mesiodens, a single extra tooth between my upper central incisors. i didn’t have any dental problems because of it, but my mom took me to have it removed when i was six because of how upset i got when other kids would make fun of me for it. i wish it hadn’t been removed, because that would have been extremely cool, but luckily i did get to keep it, and i made it into a necklace about ten years later.

glumshoe: That’s so cool. I made the mistake of looking up “mesiodens” and let me tell you, Google image-searching any kind of dental irregularities is a bad idea unless you want to see massive amounts of bloody trauma.
