honestly that ace community just sees the LGBT community as this awesome inclusive group of people that just partys 24/7 and likes to have fun.

in reality its a vaguely tangible community of people that bond over the fact that the world hates them and would beat, rape, or kill given the chance. its not fucking fun, at all. i fucking hate it.

i hate the fact that these people are trying to join this important human rights movement thinking its just a random club for “outcasts” and the rebellious cool kids.

the LGBT community isn’t an indie movie where the underdogs come out on top through compassion and kindness.

its a fight for survival, day in and day out, always having to watch our backs, always having to hide or else be dehumanized, always having this fear in the back of our mind that society will never change, its always beeing reminded of the fact our elders went through a literal genocide that lasted over a decade and no one tried to help, its remembering that there are literally thousands of hate groups in the usa alone that are dedicated to beating, raping, and killing us.

thats the LGBT community.
